“The Collector” is a short documentary about a South African antiques dealer who has a private collection of more than 1000 cameras. The short was created by filmmakers from South African production company Green Renaissance after they had a chance encounter with the collector:
While browsing for old Nikon lenses in antique stores in Long Street, Green Renaissance met The Collector – a man with a real passion for cameras. He has built up a collection of more than 1000 cameras over the years. We were lucky enough for him to invite us to his home (not open to the public) to view his impressive collection.
