Digital creative agency The Barbarian Group recently moved into a new office in New York City complete with a sprawling continuous table snaking throughout the space. The 1,100-foot-long “Superdesk” seats all 125 employees of the agency in an open format (it is designed for up to 175). The flowing surface of the desk includes seven archways that create semi-private spaces suitable for meetings and small group work. The Superdesk was created by Clive Wilkinson Architects. The New York Times has more on how the Superdesk came about.
