TastemakerX is a social gaming app for discovering new music (video). The core of the game is a kind of music stock market—a player makes trades on bands they believe are up and coming. If the player is correct, they are rewarded with more of the in-game currency and a higher “TScore”—the measurement of their success as a music influencer. TastemakerX is now available as a web and iPhone app.
