Rare Footage of Fire Devils in Australian Outback

While scouting film locations in the Australian outback in September, filmmaker Chris Tangey stumbled upon breathaking fire devils, tornado-like vortices of flame, in the midst of a wildfire (video). Fire devils (or fire whirls) are rarely captured on film as they are generally short-lived, but Tangey was able the film the phenomena for some 40 minutes.
