A Photo Series Featuring Miniature Office Workers Dealing With Hectic, Everyday Work Frustrations

Columbus, Ohio-based brand strategist Derrick Lin has created a creative series of photos that visualize miniature office workers having to deal with all sorts of hectic, everyday work frustrations. The tiny figurines deal with cases of the Mondays, tight deadlines to make, and more. Lin’s entire series of photos are available to view on Tumblr and Instagram.

UPDATE: Lin has released a new book featuring his tiny office worker photos: Work, Figuratively Speaking: The Big Setbacks and Little Victories of Office Life

With my iPhone, a reading lamp, and miniature figures, I recreate the imaginary scenes of my honest thoughts in work situations right on my work desk. Pairing each photo with corresponding caption, I post them on my Instagram and Tumblr feeds as a way to document my eventful career. Whether it’s burning the midnight oil, early morning client call, or on the road traveling for business, my tiny people are always there making sure I don’t hide my feelings.
