The 1965 television show “The Music of Lennon and McCartney” featured a brilliant recitation of The Beatles song “A Hard Day’s Night” by Peter Sellers as channeled through Laurence Olivier’s performance of Shakespeare’s “Richard III”.
Here are some hilarious outtakes from Seller’s performance.

This made my day. The outtakes are great. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you so much for sharing Peter Sellers doing Laurence Olivier doing Richard the Third doing The Beatles’ “Hard Day’s Night”!
I was wondering if you know how one could get a hold of this piece independently of the internet?
I’m a teacher of a comedy class at Brooklyn College and would very much like to share L.O. acting the first scene of R3 in ‘55, followed by Sellers parodying that and introducing Lennon and McCartney in ‘65.
many thanks!
