Japanese Street Vendors Furiously Pounding Mochi

While on tour in Japan, Celloshredder took this short video of two street vendors furiously pounding mochi, a (delicious) glutinous rice cake. One man is smacking the big green ball with a giant mallet and the other simply uses his fist, turning it as they go. A commenter on the video suggests that this was probably a show for passing tourists, as mochi is now usually made with a machine.
