Dutch artist Johan Scherft creates wonderfully lifelike papercraft models of birds. To make each model, he first makes a paper template on a computer, then he paints the template by hand, and finally he assembles the model. The process can take anywhere from two days to a month. Scherft has posted some DIY templates on his site, and created a few video tutorials on YouTube as well.
