Almost Scientific posted a great time-lapse video showing the assembly of the Raygun Gothic Rocketship at NASA’s Ames Research Center in preparation for the recent Yuri’s Night festivities there.
A beautifully streamlined atomic age sculpture and interactive art museum, the rocketship was originally created for Burning Man 2009 by Bay Area industrial arts group, Five Ton Crane. Previous FTC collaborations include the famed Steampunk Treehouse, now on permanent display at at the Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, DE.
