by Scott Beale on June 22, 2008 · 16 comments

Fuck! George Carlin is no longer with us. He died of heart failure at the age of 71 at around 6pm PDT today in Santa Monica. George is scheduled to receive this year’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on November 10th.

Goodbye my friend, you were a huge inspiration.

did you ever notice everybody else’s stuff is shit, but your shit is STUFF!?!?

Shit!

Um, and Carlin had survived at 3 heart attacks before. It’s pretty amazing he made it as long as he did.

here’s a really cool interview from a while back…

Now I’ll never have a change to see him live!

He will be terribly missed. But he’s with the “big electron” now!

Hey George, I hope you can go screw with god’s head now!

I love you, man!

You always made me laugh, even when no one else could.

We will miss you…
