To make his marriage proposal to girlfriend Saori Tsujimoto extra special, New York City-based comic artist and writer Josh Adams (Doctor Who) designed a custom Adventure Time engagement ring to resemble main character Jake the Dog. He contacted jewelry designer Paul Michael Bierker of Paul Micheal Design, who previously made a beautiful R2-D2 engagement ring, to craft the Jake ring. Josh recently told The Mary Sue that he also “currently has Paul working on a wedding band which will make the Jake ring part of a pair, as my ring will be Jake’s butt. Seriously.” Both Josh and Saori will be exchanging their vows at the upcoming New York Comic Con.
