Today Deadline reports that BattleBots, the competitive robot combat television show that aired on Comedy Central for five seasons, is returning, this time on ABC. The relaunched show will feature the same single-elimination tournament format found in the original series, though weight classes will be abolished. Six episodes are scheduled to air this summer on ABC.
