A Beautiful Infrared Time-Lapse of Mamane Trees in Hawaii

Filmmaker Gary Yost shot this beautiful infrared time-lapse video of ghostly Mamane tree “bones” on Kohala Mountain in Hawaii. The Mamane tree is native to Hawaii and found on most of the main islands. Native Hawaiians traditionally used the trees to make tools and build houses. We have previously posted about Yost’s time-lapse and video work.
