World’s Largest Passenger Jet Collides With Smaller Jet at JFK Airport

This is what a love tap from the world’s largest passenger jet looks like. On Monday night, the wing of a taxiing Airbus A380 superjumbo clipped a wee Bombardier CRJ700 commuter jet at New York’s JFK airport. As a size comparison, the A380 has a maximum take-off weight of 560 tonnes, the CRJ700’s is 32 tonnes. Luckily no one was hurt, but it was a pretty spectacular fender bender.
