Wonderful Soft-Sculpture Felt Animals With Human Characteristics Doing Very Human Types of Things

Australian textile artist Cat Rabbit is the creator of a number of really wonderful soft-sculpture felt animals with very human characteristics doing very human types of things, such as talking on the phone in a Mondrian dress, working on a laptop with headphones on a bench, putting up wallpaper, eating lunch on the ground and sitting at a desk with a book. Each soft-sculpture is handmade and Rabbit’s designs can be found on her Etsy store, where she explains her craft.

I am a Melbourne based textile artist who spends equal amounts of time sewing, drinking tea and playing with my cat, Porco. My work has been exhibited in Australia and internationally and is stocked in various nice stores online and in real life. …All the work you find here is made by my little pudgy hands without a pattern. As a result of this, everything turns out differently.
