Why Humans Do Not Have a Mating Season

Craig Benzine bangs out an answer to the question, “Why don’t humans have a mating season?” in a recent episode of the Mental Floss series Big Questions. The main reason is that human women have a menstrual cycle that differs the estrous cycle most mammals go through, but Benzine also presents his own theory that human mating increases during times of the year when television shows are in reruns.
