Wheelharp, Musical Instrument Mimics the Sound of a String Orchestra

The Wheelharp is a musical instrument that lets a musician replicate the sound of chamber string orchestra using a simple piano-style keyboard. A spinning wheel replaces the traditional bow, allowing the musician to play 61 different strings at the push of a key (listen to the Wheelharp here). The Wheelharp was designed by Mitchell Manger and Jon Jones of Los Angeles-based Antiquity Music. They are raising funds for the project on Kickstarter.
