“Walk in Shanghai” is a short film by media artist JT Singh (previously) that shows him walking through the city of Shanghai. What makes the video particularly interesting and beautiful is that Singh walked backwards through crowds, across streets, and up and down stairs against the current of those around him. The film is played in reverse, creating a unique effect that sets Singh’s journey apart from everyone around him, making him stand out in a city of more than 24 million people.
