Vox Criticizes ‘Jurassic World’ for Its Lack of Feathered Dinosaurs

In a recent episode of the Vox series Observatory titled “Jurassic Park was ahead of its time. Jurassic World is not,” Vox criticizes Jurassic World for its lack of feathered dinosaurs despite mounting evidence to the contrary discovered since Jurassic Park was released in 1993.

Paleontologist Jack Horner, who served as a technical advisor on the Jurassic Park franchise, said that despite the new evidence, the decision was made to ignore the feather discoveries to keep the look of the dinosaurs in Jurassic World consistent with the other films.
