In his “United We Stand” project, designer Ed Mitchell redesigned all 50 United States state flags using a unified design theme. The new flags feature bold, simple designs that are limited to the colors red, white, and blue, and have no text or fussy state seals (27 state flags currently feature state seals). Mitchell is an industrial designer at Philadelphia product design firm Bresslergroup.
