Two-Year Follow-Up With Ted Williams, The Man With the Golden Voice

In January 2011, Ted Williams of Columbus, Ohio escaped homelessness by having his “golden voice” discovered by Doral Chenoweth III of The Columbus Dispatch. NBC’s Stephanie Gosk followed up with Williams earlier this year to see how his life had changed in the two years since his discovery, and related her findings on The Today Show. According to the January report, Williams has a job doing voice overs for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, has founded The Ted Williams Project — a charity that raises money to help the poor in Columbus — and has been to rehab twice since his rise to fame after relapsing on drugs and alcohol. Previously, we wrote about Entertainment Tonight‘s one-year check-in with Williams in January 2012.
