For the Prudential RideLondon that took place in late July 2016, race sponsor Conti Tyres put a new spin on the term “training wheels” when they attached running shoes to the bike’s wheel spokes rather than their own bespoke product. Rider Steve Biggs of Biggsy Travels reported that the bike felt a bit shaky.

A shaky ride :) A @continentalmtb sponsored bike at #ridelondon last weekend with trainers for tyres!!!! :)
