The Unseen Cinema of HR Giger, A New York City Festival of Films by and About the Surrealist Artist

The Unseen Cinema of HR Giger, a festival of rare and never-before-seen films by and about the surrealist artist, takes place May 22 and 23, 2015 at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City. The Swiss artist–who passed away one year ago–is perhaps best known for designing the monster in the Alien film franchise. The festival will also include The Collaborations of HR Giger, a program focused on the artist’s notable collaborations, on May 22. The festival is presented in partnership with HR Giger Museum and the HR Giger Documentary Film Festival.
