The “Tick Tock Doc” is a short documentary by photojournalist Bob Krist that examines the life and work of Andy Pugh, a clock repairman based in Newtown, Pennsylvania, who repairs vintage timepieces.
I came home from college in 1977. My grandfather had been in the clock business for about 50 years. I was puttering around working around in a bakery. He said “it’s a shame no one wants to be in the clock business,” and I said, “pap-pap, you can teach me. I’ll stick around.” Been here ever since.
