The Petition to End Petitions Prank

Fed up with clipboarders and their pleas for donations and signatures, comedian Scott Rogowsky of Happy Place recently took a clipboard to Union Square in New York City and asked people to sign his petition to “stop people from asking other people to sign petitions.”

The clip board guys — they’re in your farmers’ markets, outside your Whole Foods, plaguing the urban upper-class at every turn. With no one else willing to tackle these menaces to society, we decided to take the fight into our own hands. Turns out there are more than a few people out there who have a moment for street pranking rights.

We previously wrote about a project in Boulder to confuse “clipboard zombies” with decoy clipboards.
