Last year we posted about The Long Now Foundation project to build an event space in their museum and store in San Francisco. Designed by Because We Can, the Long Now Salon will serve as a café, bar, library, and event venue. Construction has started, but the foundation must raise additional funds to complete the project. Donors will receive gifts in line with the long-term outlook of the foundation, from a gin made from bristlecone pine juniper berries to a 1989 vintage of pu-erh tea.
