If you’re not familiar, Kinfolk magazine is a Portland, Oregon-based “slow lifestyle” magazine featuring minimalist photos of cappuccinos and essays on sharing pesto. Los Angeles-based blogger Summer Allen recently discovered an eerie phenomena amongst Kinfolk’s readers on Instagram. She has found that the sort of user that snaps a photo of their latest issue of Kinfolk also takes eerily identical photos of latte art, canoes, handmade shoes, and the like. To document this curious phenomena, Allen has compiled remarkably similar photosets by Kinfolk Instagram users on her blog, The Kinspiracy.
