The Iconic Jimi Hendrix ‘Hey Joe’ Video Gorgeously Reimagined in the Distinct Style of Moebius

Neural graffitist lulu took the iconic footage of Jimi Hendrix performing “Hey Joe” and painted it in the distinctive style of the late French comic book artist Jean “Moebius” Giraud with neural network software to create a gorgeously trippy version of the video. lulu has also re-painted videos by Frank Zappa, Lords of the Underground and Nina Simone.

I like to explore how a video can be transformed using optical flow, deepstyle transfer, colorization, depth treatment and all new techniques that could arise. My cpu’s and gpu’s never sleeps and I always have a lot of different projects going on.
