The HexHog, A Six-Wheeled All-Terrain Wheelchair to Give Off-Road Access to Anyone

The HexHog is a six-wheeled all-terrain wheelchair meant to give off-road access to anyone. The vehicle was designed by Sion Pierce, an engineer who was inspired by a family of farmers that used ATVs to access their land, but one family member was unable to participate because they were in a wheelchair.

The joystick-controlled HexHog is battery-powered and features 6×6 transmission that can tread through water, mud, or sand without damage. The driver seat also has an adjustable position so that operators can independently transfer themselves from a traditional wheelchair to the HexHog and back.
