‘The Four Seasons’, Giant Sculptural Recreations of Classic Paintings by Guiseppe Arcimboldo

Per our post in 2012, artist and former film director Phillip Haas has created a traveling set of fiberglass sculptures that represent each season of the year. The pieces are heavily inspired by the “The Four Seasons“, the famous food portraits by the classical Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo. The sculptures first premiered in London and now have made their way from the New York Botanical Garden to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, the Atlanta Botanical Garden is currently being shows at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Modern Art in Kansas City through October 18, 2015.
