CBS has released the first trailer for Supergirl (previously), an upcoming action-adventure drama television series based on the DC Comics superhero Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist). In the first-look trailer, Superman‘s cousin “embraces her superhuman abilities and becomes the hero she was always meant to be.” The pilot episode of Supergirl is currently scheduled to premiere in November 2015.
Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El escaped amid its destruction years ago with her famous cousin. Now at the age 24, she finally embraces her superhuman abilities to be the hero she was always meant to be.
