Ecocapsule by Nice Visions is a tiny house offering shelter, electricity, a hot shower, and a running toilet while weighing only 1500 kg and standing only 4.45 meters tall. It is powered by a built-in wind turbine along with solar cells on its roof and a high-capacity battery for periods of low sun or wind. It fits into a standard shipping container, making transportability relatively simple. This opens up its potential for use to include not only a small home, but also a shelter for researchers in the field or vacations in exotic locales.
The first set of Ecocapsule units are scheduled to be delivered in the first half of the 2016.
