The Comedy Club is an upcoming feature length documentary that recounts the destruction and subsequent effort to rebuild Cobb’s Comedy Club, a San Francisco stand-up comedy venue that was destroyed by fire in 2002. Over the years the club has hosted many comedy luminaries including Dana Carvey, Bob Saget, and Paula Poundstone. The Comedy Club is directed by David Schendel. He’s raising funds to finance completion of the film on Indiegogo.
