“The Chickening” is a bizarre trailer “re-directed” and “anti-mated” by Nick DenBoer and Davy Force that was created by overlaying weird special effects over clips from Stanley Kubrick‘s The Shining. DenBoer and Force transform the films iconic Overlook Hotel into Charbay’s Chicken World Restaurant and Resort.
The trailer also features an incredibly catchy remix of the line “Come play with us, Danny.” The song is available through DenBoer’s SoundCloud page.
“The Chickening” recently screened as part of the Midnight Shorts Program at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
