The Career of André the Giant, The Big Man Who Won Audiences Over With ‘The Princess Bride’

In episode 19 of his series No Small Parts, host Brandon Hardesty takes a look at the tragically short career of the late André René Roussimoff known more familiarly as André the Giant. Hardesty noted that while André had a number of stereotypical roles throughout the years, it was his role as Fezzik in The Princess Bride that allowed people to see past his size and into the beautiful person he was.

His friends described him as a lonely person. When he worked on ‘The Princess Bride’, he was part of a family.
