The Butterfly Effect, An Action-Packed Animated Tale of Mayhem

The Butterfly Effect is an action-packed short animated “tale of mayhem” written and directed by London-based Dan Sumich of Passion Pictures that shows how one San Francisco man’s day takes a dramatic turn after going out to get some more milk. The Butterfly Effect was created in partnership with video game engine developer Unity to highlight their new Unity 4.0 3D software. The film is an homage to classic action films from the 70s to the 90s and is mixed up with a soundtrack by heavy metal Grim Reaper vocalist Steve Grimmett (which really adds an extra punch).

An ordinary looking guy wakes up one morning feeling the worse for wear and realises he’s run out of milk. As he drags himself out of the house to go and buy some, an extraordinary sequence of events draws him into a journey of mayhem on the streets of San Francisco.
