The Art of The Astonishing World of Art is an upcoming solo art show by Brandon Bird at Gauntlet Gallery in San Francisco. It will feature “his creative paintings and drawings of historic and pop-culture figures in absurd and bizarre situations.” The art exhibit will open on Saturday September 21, 2013 from 7 – 10 PM and run through Saturday, October 12th. Bird recently released his first book ‘Brandon Bird’s Astonishing World of Art.’ His book is an interactive and artistic creation of drawings and paintings compiled in the form of coloring pages, stickers, pull-out postcards, and more. Gauntlet Gallery will be showing many of the original works from Bird’s book, along with giclee prints of his classic paintings. All works will be available for purchase and Brandon will be present at the opening.
