Texas Mom Decorates Her Son’s Lunchbag With Goofy Doodles Every Day for Two Years

Lunchbag Art

A San Antonio, Texas-based parent has been decorating her middle schooler’s lunchbags every day for almost two years with a black Sharpie. Some of the designs are her own original ideas and some are from funny comics she finds on the Internet.

I draw on my son’s lunchbags every day. I started it on his first day of 6th grade, fully expecting it to be a one-day thing, but we are still going strong almost 2 years later later! Some of it is my original art, but more frequently, due to a busy life, I search the internet high and low for cartoons, comics, and jokes that will entertain my intended audience: middle school boys… I use only black Sharpies, so there’s no erasing and if I can’t scribble it onto a bag in 2 or 3 minutes, it’s not going on a bag. The bags are thrown away every day after he eats lunch, as they should be, and the day he asks me to stop drawing on them, I will.
