According to fast food trade publication Nation’s Restaurant News, Taco Bell is set to start taking mobile orders via smartphone app later this year. The company began working on a mobile app for this sort of thing almost three years ago, and recently tested it out in a limited capacity in Orange Country, California.
Taco Bell isn’t the first chain to offer mobile ordering. For example, Chipotle has done so since 2009.
