Back in 2011 we wrote about Swings: Bolivia, artist Jeff Waldman’s plan to install public swings around Bolivia. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Waldman did indeed travel to Bolivia in late 2011, installing swings during a month-long tour. The swings were placed in plazas, homes, natural landmarks, and much to Waldman’s surprise, swing sets—he found numerous dilapidated sets, all missing their swings, during his tour. Waldman’s Swings: Bolivia project will be the subject of an upcoming documentary.
