Doctor James Porter of Swedish Medical Center in Seattle demonstrates the remarkable dexterity of a da Vinci surgical robot by using one to fold and throw a tiny paper airplane. The robot, created by Intuitive Surgical, features four robotic arms and a stereoscopic camera. A surgeon controls the robot from the comfort of a console that displays 3D High Definition video from inside the patient.
