Stop-Motion Action Figure Remake of the 1966 Batman TV Series Intro

With the use of action figures and special effects, Kyle Roberts of Reckless Abandonment Pictures created a great stop-motion remake of the 1966 Batman live action television series intro. Previously, we wrote about Kyle and his remake of the 1990s X-Men animated series opening credits.

This isn’t lego Batman. Mattel’s newly released line of ’60s Batman inspired action figures worked perfectly to bring this classic TV intro to life. Oklahoma City-based folk band, O’Fidelis, lent its musical talents to cover the catchy “Batman” theme song and Nathan Poppe once again supplied hand-drawn backgrounds to complete the fun. Oooof!
