Lorna Colbert trained as an actress and gave her youngest son, Stephen, a flair for the dramatic.
The Colbert Report host Stephen Colbert opened his show this past Wednesday with a loving and emotional tribute to his late mother, Lorna Colbert. Lorna passed away last week at the age of 92. Stephen let all of his viewers know exactly how special she was to him and so full of love, even through the tragedies that she experienced in life.
“If you watch this show, and you like this show, that’s because of everybody that works here, and I’m lucky to be one of them. But when you watch the show, if you also like me, that’s because of my mom.”
