‘Sphynxes’, A Portrait Series That Captures the Eerily Anthropomorphic Nature of Hairless Cats

Photographer Alicia Rius has captured the eerily anthropomorphic nature and the distinctive personalities of hairless cats in her beautiful portrait series simply called Sphynxes. The cats, who are known for their lack of fur, their wedge-shape heads and their enormous eyes, are very gentle, loyal and friendly despite their startling extraterrestrial visage. In fact, Rius told PetaPixel that she was “..drawn by their alien look. There’s something disturbing yet admirable that keeps me astonished.”
