Snail Mail My Email by artist Ivan Cash is a project to transcribe emails into handwritten letters and mail them to recipients via regular mail, free of charge. After a flood of emails overwhelmed the project, Cash expanded it to include more than 180 volunteer letter writers around the world. Snail Mail My Email is accepting emails for transcription until August 15, 2011.
Type a message to a friend, family member, pet, politician, or lover, and e-mail it to snailmailmyemail@gmail.com. Then sit back and relax while your email is handwritten, sent out, and delivered to the recipient of your choosing, completely free of charge!
