Small objects are being moved and manipulated by sound wave levitation controlled by holograms that act as a tractor beam in a video as part of a study by published in Nature. The study was done by Asier Marzo, Bruce Drinkwater and Sriram Subramanian who used an array of speakers to project sound waves around a tiny ball to control its movement.
