South African musician Craig Clive Jackson was photographing wildlife from a boat on the Chobe River in Botswana, Africa as part of a Pangolin Safari trip when he managed to capture some dramatic video of an angry hippo surfacing and lunging on his iPhone. Craig’s father David scored a viral hit after posting the video to YouTube in slow motion and standard speeds.
The Hippo was closer to the boat than what it appears on the video. It is amazing how fast a Hippo can move in water, never under estimate a Hippo speed by its physical size.
