Scrolls, the newest video game from Minecraft developer Mojang, will launch in beta on the PC late next month, Polygon reports. The strategy game combines elements of both collectible trading card games and board games, and an alpha version is currently being tested by about 1,000 players. Mojang co-founder Jakob Porser told Polygon that the game’s development and evolution will be similar to that of Minecraft, “we’ll release it early at a discount. With the help from our community, we’ll take the game to the next level and see what we want to do and what they expect out of the game and you can work around that.”
