Actor Scott Bakula made a welcome appearance during the June 16 episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert who, with a little prodding from the host, reprised his famous Quantum Leap role as Dr. Sam Beckett. In the original episode entitled “It’s a Wonderful Leap“, Sam had leaped into the body of cab driver Max Greenman and unknowingly offered real estate advice to a young Donald Trump. Striving to put right what once went wrong, Colbert and Bakula revisited the scene and attempted to explain to the young Trump what he should or shouldn’t do, making things worse and worse. Finally they got control of the situation and were able to get the present back to its current status.
Bakula reprises his role as Sam Beckett for a brand-new “Quantum Leap” adventure. Watch Sam and Stephen leap backwards through time to seek out a young Donald Trump.
