Scientists at CERN May Have Found the Higgs Boson Particle

Higgs Boson

Today scientists at CERN announced they have discovered a new subatomic particle that may be the long sought-after Higgs boson. The particle was discovered during experiments at the Large Hadron Collider in late 2011 and 2012. The results are preliminary and will require further analysis before scientists can conclusively say they’ve found the Higgs boson.
